I used Maria for the interior design and furnishings for my new luxury condo that I purchased in North Scottsdale. Maria’s recommendations for cabinet colours, flooring and hardware have often given me many compliments for being the most beautiful unit in the development. In fact, I have had other homeowners, who I don’t even know, knock on my door requesting a tour of my condo. It is truly the most beautiful condo I have ever seen in my life, and I can’t believe that it’s mine!! Maria Zambrano is passionate about interior design, which is evident in her dedication to creating the perfect atmosphere for the homeowner. Every detail is important. She uses Computer-Aided Design, which ensures precise measurements and scaling. This was a huge benefit, enabling us to visualize how each piece would look in the designated space. Maria has a talent for finding unique, and often one-of-a-kind pieces. She stays ahead of emerging trends by regularly traveling to Europe and attending trade shows. Maria designed everything in our home from ceiling treatments to light fixtures to flooring, and all furnishings and artwork. Her designs included custom pieces designed and selected for the specific location – hand painted tiles in the kitchen installed from the counter top to the 14-foot ceilings, unique bronze statues framing each side of the fireplace, custom coordinating artwork for the entry way, custom lighting fixtures, and more. In addition to being an excellent designer, Maria exudes the utmost in fairness and professionalism. She is a joy to work with. Her top priorities included understanding what we wanted and liked, our lifestyle and our budget. This was not an easy task, but the result was stunning. Masterful Designs

We had the good fortune to work with Maria Zambrano on the complete remodel of a 25-year-old home we purchased in the Arizona Biltmore Estates, which was in its original condition. Maria’s masterful designs included the remodel of three bathrooms, the addition of a beautiful laundry room created by reconfiguring internal spaces, adding a window, lighting, a utility sink, and custom cabinetry, as well as a master closet that is reminiscent of a high-end boutique with custom cabinetry and lighting. She designed a true chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry that boasts walnut interior shelving, Thermador and Subzero appliances, a 10.5-foot island, wine bar, and coffee station. We worked closely with Maria on selecting many new furnishings for the home and how best to incorporate family pieces into the newly designed space. Maria gave considerable attention to an art collection of over 100 pieces collected over many years with a lighting design and placement schematic that enhanced the collection’s visibility and beauty. From floorplan and lighting designs, custom furnishings, flooring, fixtures, and finishes, Maria handled it all with an aesthetic talent that challenged our pre-conceived ideas and delighted us with a home that reflects our personal style while avoiding fads and trends. The result is a home whose beauty will endure for decades.
